  Oh dear... I'm posting this before I'm even eating. We got seated by a waitress not a hostess which was strange because there seemed to be some disagreement between them. After getting seated we asked her to put in the blooming onion right away and she agreed. She then disappeared and didn't come back. After watching waitresses pass by for 15 minutes I stopped a Manager who then sent a different waitress who seemed very confused. I'm also smelling some bad smells by the kitchen area and got embarrassed by a slamming bathroom door which appeared to have a broken closer.

  Horrible! Took the family for my husbands birthday. Walked in at 3:30. Hostess told us we would have to wait until they cleaned tables. The place was half empty! After waiting for 10 minutes other people came in the door. Hostess was no where around. After 10 more minutes they went to find someone. A waitress came over and started seating all the people that came in 15 minutes after us. Not her fault as I don't think she realized the hostess had kept us standing there. Finally seated it took another 10 minutes for a waitress to come over. We placed our entire food order because we could already tell service was going to be slow. Took forever to even get our drinks. Finally our salads came and we had to go find someone to get silverware because we had none. Food was good but it was 1 hour and 15 minutes from the time we walked into a half empty restaurant until we got our food. A man at the table beside us commented that he had been waiting 15 minutes for his check. The family at the table behind us commented that they had been waiting forever to get kids menus. I don't know if they are understaffed but they need to get it together. I love Outback but this experience was the worst. Won't visit this one again.

  James, a manager has the worst management skills. We sat through dinner, next to a couple who complained the entire meal. They were already seated when we arrived. He complained about everything from his boss not knowing business (how to bid electrical work) to his shrimp under-cooked and his prime rib "hacked-up" because he asked the waitress to "have all the fat removed before you bring it out to me". He didn't want to pay for what he couldn't eat. Danielle was their waitress as well as ours. She was so lovely. Smiled, apologized, kept smiling and offering any assistance. James told the couple Danielle has been there for well over a year and needed to refresh her skills and perhaps he will encourage her to go to another Outback. These people even complained about their bill (which the waitress didn't even prepare). It was brought out by another individual who James also treated poorly. James acts like he has a "superiority complex" toward his employees. I am giving them two stars because the food was excellent and Danielle was great!

  Had a great time. Used call ahead seating and was seated as soon as we arrived. They were not full at the time, and waitstaff was right there to explain changes in menu, and specials of the day. Service was excellent and the steaks were tender and cooked to our order. The waitstaff team was great as one person brought our drinks, another the meal, so things came out as expected. A great treat.
